While a student at Colorado State University my focus was on academic excellence in both of my fields, community involvement, and engagement with my peers. This wasn't easy as a first-generation nontraditional student, but in my experience nothing worth having in life is easy to get.

At Colorado State University I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Organization and Innovation Management and certificates in Organizational Leadership and Entrepreneurship. I also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion. These diverse fields provide me with unique perspective and with two sets of tools for fostering innovation and solving problems.
I also worked as a Peer Advisor with the CSU Adult Learner and Veteran's Services Office meeting with newly enrolled adult learners and offering them advice and access to university services, as well as an Advisory Board Member for the CSU ALVS Office. I was also a member of the leadership team with Campus Connections, a CSU Affiliated Therapeutic Mentorship program for at-risk youth in the community.
First Generation Graduate
My maternal grandfather was an uneducated German immigrant, my parents earned high school diplomas, and I am incredibly proud to be the first member of my family to graduate from college.
A Dedicated Student Leader
While working and studying at CSU I actively pursued roles and opportunities in which I could support not just my own goals, but the academic and personal goals of other students.
A True Double Threat
Because I have both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science I actually have multiple complex frameworks and knowledgebases to utilize and draw from when solving problems and working with people.
